Studying in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales also means that you'll get to experience the UK's unique culture. Universities:

The UK has a well-deserved reputation for educational excellence and this is reflected in university rankings. Currently 78 UK institutions feature in the QS World University Rankings 2019, with four ranked within the world's top ten. Higher education in the UK is divided into two levels: undergraduate (Bachelors) and postgraduate (Masters and PhDs) and is provided by a number of public and private universities. Other types of institution can include colleges, conservatoires and distance learning universities. The academic calendar can vary between different universities but usually runs from September to June.

POST STUDY WORK PERMIT:

The post-study work visa has been reintroduced in September 2019, after being previously abolished in 2012. The visa, aimed at international students who have completed their studies at a Tier 4 sponsor university in any subject, at undergraduate level or above, allows graduates to work, at any skill level for a period of two years after completing their course.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

To study in United Kingdom, you can simply fill out the form on Page no 34 & 35. Entry requirements vary between universities so your Counsellor at Zest will further guide you. Most application deadlines fall on the 15th January (or 15th October for Oxford, Cambridge and the majority of medicine, dentistry and veterinary courses.

STUDENT VISA:

In the UK, student visas are part of the tier 4 visa category. - You're advised to apply no more than three months before the start of your course and you'll get a decision within three weeks. The tuition fees & cost of living will be required to show in the bank statement for the visa application.

INTAKES:

These vary across all institutions so it's important to check fees structure individually. You also need to factor in the cost of student accommodation, general living costs and course materials. The Cost of living varies city wise hence while choosing the university consider the campus location accordingly.
